Lady Jags earn 5 trophies at State

The Lady Jags with their State trophies.

Traveling to Kansas City for State competition, the Lady Jags dominated winning an Officer Award of Excellence, Shining Star Award, Choreography Award, Polished and Precision Award, Technique Award, and the Most Admired Team voted by all other teams competing. 
“We did a phenomenal job; it could not have gone any better. Of course there were things we could have improved, there always is, but I am so proud of our performances. Amazing,” senior Cerah Handsaker said. 
As the ladies dominated with all routines scoring higher than 330 points. This earned them the Shining Star Award. 
“We got the job done. We crushed it, I am so unbelievably proud of my team,” junior Aubrey McKenna said. 
The team worked as one, paying off with elite awards such as Technique Award and Polished and Precision Award.
“We did an incredible job, all of our hard work paid off immensely,” Handsaker said.
Ending the weekend on a high note, the girls came home with 5 trophies.
