On the afternoon of September 8th, 2022 the great Queen Elizabeth passed away. She was at the age of 96 at her passing. She spent her life as a proud leader of her country, and loving her family dearly. It will be a tragic day in history for not only England, but for the world.
Princess Elizabeth Alexandra Mary was born April 21, 1926 in Mayfair, London. Her parents were Prince Albert, Duke of York, and Elizabeth, Duchess of York, the late king and queen of England. Elizabeth II became the queen of England at the age of 25, at this point she had already been married to Prince Philip for 4 years. In her time of ruling she had 4 children, one daughter, and 3 sons. Her oldest being the now great king of England, King Charles III. As Queen she traveled over numerous parts of the world, all while reigning over 32 sovereign states in her ruling, and 15 at the time of her passing.
In 1981 the Queen's eldest, prince Charles at the time, married Lady Diana Spencer. When they were married they had two sons. William, Duke of Cambridge, and Prince Harry of Wales.
Now that the monarch of England has passed after 70 years of reigning, people are asking what will happen now. After the queen passes immediately her first son Charles III will become King. all the leaders around the country will gather to discuss what has happened, and to meet the new King. One can only hope that the royal family will be okay with our Elizabeth.
May we remember Queen Elizabeth II for the rest of our lives. She will not only be remembered as a kind compassionate queen, but a brave ambitious queen. The world will know the day of September 8, 2022 as the date of the longest monarchs passing. May she rest in peace.
